SUNDAY, MAY 29, 2005 Memorial Day arrives and our pool construction has been at a standstill for 2 weeks and counting. The sub-contractor who is supposed to pour the concrete deck around the pool was supposed to have arrived on Wednesday, May 25th but was a no show. No show and no call. I called our Project Manager, Anthony Sylvan's office and the contractor directly leaving messages on Thursday and Friday before the long weekend and didn't even get a call back. We are frustrated and disappointed and notice that one of the plastic returns is broken and will probably have to be replaced. We hope that this won't delay the deck installation further. Things have slowed down considerably and we still have to get the deck poured, grade the yard in preparation for the fencing that must be installed before the plastering can be done and the pool filled with water.
