Chadds Ford, PA 19710

Open seven days a week.

A comfortable fine dining establishment with simply great food, the Chadds Ford Inn is a great place for a casual lunch, Sunday Brunch, an elegant dinner or light snack at the bar.

Enjoy their beautifully prepared specialties, including innovative seafood and mushroom dishes unique to the region and their lighter-than-air popovers while surrounded by a wonderful collection from the Brandywine school of art. Howard Pyle, Peter Hurd, and three generations of Wyeths are represented.

Clientele continues to be as colorful as the Inn's history and ambience. You never know who may be dining next to you, perhaps luminary Andrew Wyeth himself. Or, it may be a ghost from years past such as "the Captain" who lays claim to a table in the corner on the second floor. Young Katie has been seen lighting candles on the mantle in the Hearth Room. These past patrons have been known to play tricks on kitchen staff and move pictures on the walls.

All four Brandywine Heritage Restaurants blend saucy and inventive American cuisine with perfect service. Their architecture and interior décor speak volumes about the fascinating history of the Brandywine region, located just outside Philadelphia, PA and Wilmington, DE.
