This photo was taken while waiting for my wife to finish shopping at a designer clothing outlet in Chester County. The house has since been torn down and the outlet closed. I like the textures of the shutter, the crackling paint and the peeling stucco. Today, you'd call it shabby chic, but it reminds me of the kind of detail you'd see in a Wyeth painting...very Chadds Fordish.
