Bring your sweetheart and come celebrate with the wineries of the Brandywine Valley Wine Trail as they present delicious wine and chocolate tastings and other romantic events throughout the month! All wineries do not have Wine & Chocolate events going on each weekend

Tastings begin every half an hour starting at 12 pm with the last class beginning at 5:30 pm. Each class is limited to 20 people. NO Reservations. 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Costumed guides will lead tours of the John Chads House, the little stone mansion that survived the Battle of Brandywine, and tell about its fascinating history. Don't miss bread baking in the beehive oven in the cellar kitchen! The John Chads House is one of the Delaware County Historical Society's Passport to History sites. This year's "Honored Artist" is the admired local artist Steve Oliver. Steve creates wildlife and nature art, which captures each animal's character and personality. Art Cafe 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.:Children ages 5 to 12 can drop in and create their own masterpiece in a relaxing "art studio" atmosphere. Spaces are available on a first come, first served basis, costs vary based on age and project selection.

In order to fish in the stream, you need a Pennsylvania fishing license and a Park fly fishing membership. E-mail the Mill at info@newlingristmill.org to request membership information be mailed to you. Fishing privileges in the stream are limited to a list of approved membership numbering no more than 100.
Trout fishing in the Newlin Grist Mill ponds is open weekends March through October from 9AM - 4PM. To fish, you must bring a valid driver's license to register in the office. Fees are $3/person, $3/trout. Bait is available for $1. All trout must be kept and paid for. No releasing.

Featuring 8 bands and 8 hours of live music- folk, blue grass, classic and indie rock, Irish, and blues. The stage is located in the park's natural amphitheater, which is accessed through the Cheyney Road gate located south of the Visitor Center. Parking is free; carpooling is encouraged. Bands begin playing at 12pm with a new band playing every hour until 8pm. Gates open at 11:30am. Over 800 people are expected to attend. Make sure to arrive early to stake out good seats and bring lawn chairs and blankets to make yourself comfortable during the festival. Families are encouraged to attend (children 12 and under are free of charge). Leashed and well-behaved dogs are also welcome to join in the fun! Food and drink will be available to purchase from Shoo Mama's Farm Fresh Café,and Victory Brewing Company. Coolers will not be permitted into the festival. Blacksmith demonstrations will also be ongoing throughout the festival and discounted Newlin Grist Mill memberships will be available for purchase. The Pennsylvania Hunt Cup is a Timber steeplechase race with a distance of four miles and 22 fences, over fair hunting country. It is a substantial test of both horse and rider, and is one of just three 4-mile steeplechase races sanctioned by the National Steeplechase Association. First run in 1921 over a course in Whitemarsh , PA, the race moved to the present location in Unionville, PA in 1964, where it has been held annually since. Over the years the race meeting has grown so that the race day card now includes three sanctioned timber races, and the Pennsylvania Pony Hunt Cup for children.
