Centreville Restaurants There aren't a lot of choices in Centreville when it comes to eating out. Until recently there was one... Buckley's. The place has been packing them in for decades. You can beat the location, half way between Winterthur and Longwood Gardens on scenic Rt. 52.

The new Buckley's, run by partners Vance V. Kershner, P. Coleman "Coley" du Pont and Tom Hannum, former executive chef at the Hotel du Pont, opened on Tuesday, October 30 as their version of "a neighborhood gastro-tavern". Not sure what that means exactly, but the new Buckleys is more refined than the old Buckley's... they seat you in the bar and make you wait at the door. More like Buckley's Bistro.
"Buckley's was the beating heart of Centreville. They cannot be separated. Neither will be the same. Change is just plain uncomfortable sometimes." Ed. 12/23/2011
